Hello everyone,
Looking to upgrade from a 2012 S550 to a 2015 S550 in Jan/Feb when my CPO extended is set to expire. I've driven multiple pre-facelift W222's and I like the car, just need to decide on options.
What things should I be looking for or to avoid (options or problem areas) on a 2015? I'll be buying a warranty of some type again as mine has paid out the cost of a new Camry or Accord in claims, thus 2014 is out due to age.
Also, considering Bentley GT or Flying Spur of same value range (which would be 08-10). They appear to actually be fairly reliable but lack the modern safety features of the S class (no BSM, no LDA, very rare to find radar cruise, ect...). The other big downside is no warranty due to age and higher insurance.

I wouldn't buy a Bentley with no warrantee, also not many dealers and very expensive Maintenance. I have a 2015 S550, great car. I'd suggest getting the Driver assistance package, the surround view camera, premium package 1. My car has no surround view and I sure wish it did, but I bought it used and it was a good deal so just bought it anyhow. I'd think at this point you could find a decent one about 50 grand.

The Bentley's steering that I drove was so heavy, and the car felt like a Zeppelin in weight. Stick with the S Class, it's easier to maintain and isn't so "loud".

I have the connections to get parts at wholesale 3.) in the area I live everyone else has an S class, 7 series or A8.....and 4.) I've always wanted an exotic and it actually works for me because I only drive about 4800 miles per year

Speaking of insurance, I would call your agent and find out what insurance will be on both. I would never buy a Bentley but that is just me. In the Seattle area Bentleys are pretty common actually.
