New to Forum
Hi everyone! So my "new to me" 2015 S550 Sport is currently en route to my house in RI (coming from NJ). Really excited as it's very well equipped with all the features I was looking for (attached). Looking forward to joining the community and seeing what mods people have tackled. I was the previous owner of a W212 E350 and most recently sold the below X5.

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
I have a 2015 S 4Matic, it is my 2nd S class and is almost the same as yours less the 3D sound. I had a MB factory ELW on my 12 that was good but probably not needed. I decided to go without on my 15 and after a year I have no regrets. I look at the ELW as an insurance policy and I am choosing to roll the dice. The motor and tranny in this car is pretty much bullet proof and the electronics are fairly vetted by now as well. Biggest issue is the suspension and there are options for repair here as well. Not worth the 3-4K to me, but it is all about risk tolerance. I did take mine in while it was still under warranty and had them check everything out and they could find nothing wrong with the car. Tires and Brakes are really all this car should need along with normal maintenance in my experience. I dump my cars at the 50K mark though so maybe that has something to do with it.

BMW of Tenafly. They had no clue what they were doing. "Yeah, it's got leather." was the extend of their education level. I took the VIN and went to Mercedes for an MSRP breakdown. KBB had it at 57-63K. I paid 55.5K. I have to say that I am speechless to the drive. The interior is bananas and everyone who's seen it to date is shocked at how sweet it is (mainly because of the warmth and comfort back seat). It's such an incredible machine and I'm so happy I took the plunge!

* buy a car at a dealer who isn't the manufacturer. Meaning, don't buy a BMW at a BMW dealer, etc.
I'm not sure about selling though. Did they pay good money for your BMW (if you trade-in)

Please check with konsigtiger or other people. They renew their pricing structure every year or so. Don't pay extra if you could act fast now. FYI, in your case if you pay now you can get full refund on what you've paid for ELW if you cancel it by April 2019, else, it would be prorated.
I learned that secret* when buying my E-class at a Nissan dealer. They know nothing about distronic plus, parktronic, massage seats. I demo'd all of those features to the sales guy when he took me for a spin, lol. In fact, I sold the sales guy a Mercedes by the end of the 10-mins ride.

Yeah man... that sale hurt my soul. However, I'm in love with the W222 so it's all good. It had 84K miles. I actually took off and sold the 375 wheels and sold them separately for $3500 to help pad the sale. I gave the buyer my 19" summers. I did the analysis and at the end of the day owning it for 18 months cost me around $900 per month (taxes and maintenance included). A lease would have been closer to $1200 so I'm generally okay with how it all happened.

Some black vinyl work so far. I'm not doing the front end delete as it already has plenty of black accents. At this point, any which way you look at the car you get some black, some chrome, and lots of white. I'm really happy with it. Next up is light smoke on tail lights and black mirrors. Dont mind my creep fur baby Tyson in the back seat!
