Just picked up an S350 in the UK
Love it so far, but I'm a bit surprised at how shallow the console under the arm rest is!
A friend of mine has a '15 which has a very deep (normal) one.
Am i missing something? Can that bit be removed to reveal the rest of it?

This is normal if you have the optional 4 zone climate control. You can tell if you have separate temperature controls underneath the 2 center vents for the rear seats. So this is a good thing. Special rear climate control beats a more spacious center console

Got it, my mates one hasn't got 4 zone.
Bit surprising though as I've had other cars with 4 zone CC and still had a full sized centre console.
