Best Extended Warranty Companies for Non-CPO Benzs
Greetings all. I have come across about (3) S550's that have the options that i'm looking for but they are not CPO's. The mileage on each of these cars are below 45,000 miles and have been serviced at a Mercedes dealership with detailed maintenance records according to the Carfax report. I would appreciate if you can provide some companies that I can contact. Thanks in advance.

None of them fall under MB CPO. I even called MBUSA and had them run the VIN's. They did tell me that I can call and speak to the Finance Manager at my local MB dealership and see if they can give me the company name(s) of the 3rd party warranty companies that they use and have had good experiences with. Thanks.

If your vehicle is less than 4 years from the original day of delivery and satisfy less than 50000 miles, you can purchase Mercedes Benz ELW.
Check up warranty pricing threads on this forum and try Jeff from Tafel motors or similar for best pricing and eligibility (You don't have to be from that city to get that pricing).
Drop them an email, they are responsive and friendly Finance Managers.

My understanding is CPO is different from Factory warranty and/or ELW.

One is Ruby Red amd the other Paladium Silver. The Ruby Red is awesome, I saw that one today. Man oh man! And I detail my own cars so that would be glistening all the time! Lol!

Do not assume that because it is still under MB warranty that it can be extended by MB. They have changed the rules a bit and are not willing to sell an ELW on an in warranty car if it has ever been wholesaled for example. I picked up a spotless carfax car with 17K miles on it and still in warranty with absolutely nothing wrong with it and clean title and they would not sell me an extended warranty. Decided to go without and self insure. Had the car a year now and have not spent a dime on it. Will probably just run without for the next few years and then sell it at around 40K miles.
