One of our cars has the clear plastic film bra which is really nice. The S does not. I think if I had some chips to fix I would use touch up paint and do it really nice and then apply the bra film after. I suspect this will make the repairs really hard to detect...

Clear bra also helps but I was told that after a while let's say 3-4 years from now it is applied on it can peel off on its own due to exterior weather conditions or daily rigors of life .I have ,however got it applied it on my car and so far so good

That is some very bad old info. PPF has come leaps and bounds over the years. Most of them have 10 year warranties now. None of them crack or turn yellow any more. I have Suntek on one of my cars for 8 years still looks new. I also have Expel which has a 10 year warranty. Install and quality are big factors in picking a film.
