I have had that on my screen many months ago and always thought that was part of Sirus Weather, which had expired on my 2015. I have never done any thing to that and the warranty has now expired. Please let me know what the stealer says and what was done to fix it. I had the Navigation updated and it worked for a few days and went blank again. That's why I was sure it was part of Sirius and you would have to pay for it.
I have had BMW many years ago that had an entire radio channel dedicated to the weather forecast. and it was free. Even free on my 2016Subaru Forester. Now MB wants to nickel and dime you on everything thru this Sirius thing.... totally ridiculous.
If it's anything like my old ML430, the temp sensor is mounted up front under the bumper area somewhere and easily unplugged and replaced diy. I did mine in 5 mins tops.
No idea where it's at on an S class but suspect it is pretty accessible so it wouldn't be affected by heat from other parts of the car.

I had to re-schedule my Stealership appointment until May 20th. I will definitely post on what the final issue was. Thanks.
I did set the Additional Display Area to show the weather but still got the blank values. That's why I had thought it may have to do with Sirius Weather package. Mine is 2015 and it's way over the 3 year free Sirius subscription. Does anyone have the same model year as mine and your weather is still working? I always thought that's something you would have to pay Sirius after 3 years and that's why I thought that was ridiculous that MB is trying to nickel and dime on everything .
I have this option on my LX570 , I need to upgrade to see weather, my option list on my S63 says Free Trial SirusXM radio period , I was reluctant to ask about weather in case they shut XM radio off, I get all channels except weather, traffic , and gas prices .
thanks, I just found out by calling Sirius today and subscribed to their Travel Links package, which includes Traffic and Weather for ~$6/month.
