Fuel Tank Pressor Sensor Location?

Hi Team! Engine light with P0451 error came up so I have purchased the OEM P/N 1635422818 Fuel Tank Pressor Sensor for my 2015 S550 … problem is, I can’t find it to replace it! Searched the forum and it is not located inside the right rear wheel well nor is it under the passenger rear seat access plate! I have seen the configuration for the fuel tank but there is no access to the right rear drivers’ seat to touch the fuel tank … do I have to drop the whole fuel tank? Anybody’s expertise and or P0451 error fix is greatly appreciated! VIN: WDDUG8FB5FA119482. Cheers!

I assume you erased code and it returned if not, try this before replacing.

Thanks Bud! The engine light still remains on but I didn't know the fuel pressure sensor was located at this location. Do you know if it accessible from the rear seat or does the tank have to be dropped? I will try to check in the next few dayz!

Happy Sunday! I was unable to access this location from under the rear seat. Does anyone know IF I have to remove the muffler system and gas tank just to access this location? I really need advice ... otherwise Wifey wants it to go to the stealership and I do not trust their in and out work most of the times! If anyone has any advice ... it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! Nelson

Hi. I recently ran into the same issue. What did you end up doing? Thanks.

Diagnose with MB diagnostics - quick test, erase code(s) before replacing parts.
