Garage opener works only a week
I have a 2018 S class and has programmed the garage opener to open my garage.
The problem I'm seeing is that after roughly a week (or it could be after a number of activations) the garage opener is no longer capable of opening the garage and to make it work again I do need to reset the opener and reprogramming it again.
My wife as a 2016 GLA and her garage opener has worked flawless for ~2-3 years.
Has anyone experience this issue? Or know how to fix it?
Could this be a defect in the actual hardware in the car?

Had this happen, ended up being the garage door opener was maxed out on learned codes. After programming and using the last car (like your 2018) it kept bumping off the previous learned car. Once that car used the opener, it would bump off the last one and had to start over again. Needed to wipe ALL learned vehicles and remotes off of the opener and reprogram each item one last time. Never a problem after that.
