Removal of rear spoiler on S560

It seems I will end up with a spoiler whether I like it or not! On a leased car I understand that I must return it as I got it, but does anyone have experience removing the spoiler on an S560? Is it taped or bolted or both? Will there be paint damage?

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
3M taped to the trunk. No bolts or holes in the trunk. Get some robust fishing line and run it under the spoiler to cut the 3M tape and then get some goof off to remove the residue from the tape. Keep the spoiler for when you turn the car in and re attach it with more 3M tape. Very simple to do.

So weird that others on this forum say it can’t be removed without damaging and repainting the rear.

when you remove it there is a possibility that the paint underneath is damaged bc it was mounted when the paint was fresh. Use a heat gun and fishing line like stated.

heat gun, very much so or even a blow dryer... and go slow with the line... if it's warm enough it should go thru easy...

If there is wrap place nearby they will be able to remove pretty easy as well...

Everything is nearby. Lol. That’s one of
the things I love and hate equally about where I live. So I’ll keep that in mind for sure.
