Do the base model 2014 S550 come standard with the burmester audio and the airmatic suspension?

What problems or issues should I be aware of in the model year 2014 that they fixed in the 2015?

Reason I am asking is because in the 2007 they had a gear or balance shaft issue that was fixed with a more sturdy part in the 2008

I don't think I have a specific answer to your questions, but one thing I always hear is to avoid the first year (first launch) model, in other words go for 2015 instead of 2014, price difference is negligible (at least you get the touch pad panel instead of the boring leather pad with phone in it). Am not sure about any major mechanical differences between the two, but I know the transmission software has been updated after the 1st year,

There were no major first year issues. The small stuff may of been taken care of when it was under warranty. And yes both are standard. The burmester is overrated and sucks.

Headliner creaks.. otherwise should be reliable
