2016 vs 2017 s550 help me decide!
I’m close to pulling trigger on a new to me cpo s550. First is a 2016 lunar blue with nut brown interior, 21,000 miles but not all options I’m looking for (has rear seat package and hud but standard leather). Second is a 2017 s550 with more of the options I want (sports package, warmth and comfort and exclusive leather) but 32,000 miles. I also like the exterior look of 2017 better, ruby black with black interior but 20 inch wheels which in my opinion look better but I know there’s been some talk on this forum re reduced comfort with these. So the real question is whether the extra 10,000 miles matters? Also does the 2017 model have any changes over 2016? Seems like it says the 2017 has 9 gears rather than 7?

They are honestly the same cars. Since they are both CPO's I say get the car with the spec that you want. Even though it has higher miles, as long as it is in good condition it is okay. I know from experience that when you have the spec that you truly want, you will be happier for sure . Good luck!

You can read about both models in the brochures. Strangely the 2017 4matic with the 9 speed transmission is one mpg worse on the highway.

If the choice is between the two, the 2017 seems to tick more boxes. I personally would not get a S-Class with standard leather. Those cars feel just much more pedestrian inside

I don't think the extra 10K would make a difference besides for service.....I'd go 17

Agreed! I also have this combination and it looks so classy!. Before I bought my S-class i really wanted one of the light colors like white or beige, but this full black combination makes it so classy from inside. These colors also don't age with time as the minor wrinkles due to normal use are so hard to see. The dashboard looks amazing with this combination. I saw your car interior, it's exactly like mine/
