Thought some of you may be interested in the following.

I plan on intergrating this with the Curb Alert. This way wife has no excuse.... Yes, I know you can hit the button on the dash.... But when parking, it will not work while in motion. This will enhance a great feature the car has.

Once I get a chance I can supply pics of my CL's Night View Assist working during the day. Not sure if there is some difference between models but it definitely works all the time. I also cleared all my fault codes and re-scanned my S600 and finally got a fault code for Night View saying that it required calibration. If that is the case I think I finally figured out what it isn't working. The bad news is I'm not sure I want to spend about $300-400 just for the dealership to calibrate it. Does anyone know if it's possible to calibrate on your own? I do have access to STAR.
