anyone know if the year of grill matters? like will any aftermarket one after 2014 fit? or does it have to be the new facelift version meaning 2017-2019?
I bought OEM from dealer it was 1098.00 dollars and only difference is my MB emblem (not star) was blue and the new was black, but my car is black so it was a win .
Is that for a 2014+ W222? Does it have the rubber gasket at the top?

Greetings. The grille for sale is for the +2018 and up S class which as you can see is different ( design ) from the 2017 or older S class.
You do not need new rubber gasket to fit the 2014-2017 preface S class including the S63. What you will need is to change the front camera “ bracket “ as you can see from this video which is also from α preface S class ( S63 ) that I had to purchase separately to complete the install:
Again if this grille is to be install on α preface S class, you will need the pictured camera bracket.
If it’s for α +2018 and up S class which is the exact OEM grille I am selling, the bracket is not needed.
The reason α preface S class will need the camera bracket is because the preface camera/bracket sits on α different height as the +2018 S class as you can see from the video.
You will not need to any recalibration of the camera. It’s plug and play weather it’s for α preface or facelift S class.
PS. If you look at the attached video, you will see the difference between the prepare grill and facelift grille.

hey all! i randomly got some damage on the front of my grill on my s560, it either happened while driving or someone hit it in a parking lot or something but what can i do, just bad luck i guess.
i assume i will have to replace the grill if i want a perfect fix anyone know how much that runs for?
secondly any clue what i could do to temporarily cover up the chrome scratch/scuff? i know the black plastic behind is cracked too but thats harder to see so just covering the chrome would be great while i wait for my fix

Thanks. I saw the video. I know it does not show a rubber gasket, I have not looked at a new car to see if one exists. I'm sure its there for a reason to keep water out/away from dripping down that area.
