I have a buddy who spends almost double this and I just dont get it, Yes, the car looks great but when used it gets just as dirty just as quick an and actually shows it even more as the car is so perfect. I do agree it does cleans off easier but he pays the same guy to wash the car so it just makes his job easier.
Please do not let anyone sand, polish or whatever your paint to so called perfection. A car needs to be painted with additional coats to achieve this not just remove stock paint. They have no way of telling how much clear coat is removed just total mills. UV protection is in film build and the more you remove the less you have. Also your paint can only take this maybe once in a lifetime at best so I dont get doing it to a new car. The more perfect a paint job the more flaws it shows. Nobody who has painted and wet sanded a car themselves would do this to a stock vehicle.
Im not bashing and the car looks great I just dont understand it?
