I can personally attest to that! I lost mine for a month.......was almost a year......due to a 103 in a 65......that was a LONG month.....and it was a February too lol

Depends what State you live in.
In Illinois, a few years back, I was clocked in my wife's G63 at 105 MPH while passing a semi doing about 90MPH on a virtually empty interstate.
Took 8 months, $3000 and 5 or 6 court appearances to end up with a 2 year supervision but my licence still with me.
A surgeon I know who worked at Lurie Children Hospital, had similar supervision and got caught again at around a 100MPH in his 911 Turbo (got a call a kid he operated on previous night went critical).
Guy spent a year in Joliet....
Now, if he said he operated on a cop at Stroger, he would get a police escort all the way.

DAMN! That's fawked.......police pick and choose when they want to uphold the law. My incident was also 'expensive'.
I'll never forget that fawking she judge either......sitting up there on her little throne, not wearing a gown and sucking down a big gulp, fawking so unprofessional she was......and THIS is what we get for driving our cars fast.

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
In the state of WA anything over 100MPH will get you a free ride in the back of a WSP patrol car. I took mine up to about 110MPH out in the middle of nowhere in Eastern WA in the desert once and lost my nerve at about that speed. Not worth the risk in my mind.

A blowout (always an unexpected event) at anything over 100mph (let alone 150+) even in a well handling car can be fatal. Blowouts can happen even if you’re staying below the tires speed rating. ROF’s (as much as I dislike them) can make a high speed blowouts a bit more manageable.

I understand that in the USA it's not unusual to have extremely long and quiet stretches of road, but still, things start becoming dangerous at those speeds; 130 mph is 210 km/h, a not insignificant speed irrespective of the car's handling and the condition of the roads. Suffice to say that 80-90 km/h over the limit it's enough to warrant very heavy fines and even jail time even in the most lenient countries*. Even in Germany (which is less than an hour away from where I live) where there are stretches of the Autobahn designed for such speeds you rarely see people go over 200 km/h because your attention needs to shift to the car 100%.

I wouldn't worry about it, the W222 is supposed to offer a comfortable driving experience, not a racetrack one.

* In Switzerland the traffic laws' strictness is similar to Virginia's. Go 16 km/h over the speed limit and you've now landed a criminal offence if you're caught.

I had my old speed delimited E60 M5 up to 197 MPH on a long stretch of 4 lane highway years ago. The speedo read that it was past 200 mph, but GPS didn't agree. It was amazing how planted that car was at that kind of speed.
