Hi folks..I have a 2015 S550. I noticed about a month ago that my rear defroster was not working. I took it in to the dealership as it was due for other stuff as well. They said they could not get a faulty code and power seemed to be getting to the area. Regardless of what they said, it still does not work.

Anyone else have this issue? Any advice?

 

Power to the window element is one step. The next step if there is power to the window is to measure the RESISTANCE of the element. If there is an open in the window element than the problem would be solved and a new window would be installed.

 

I'm embarrassed to say this but I took my E350 to the shop to have my Service A done and a transmission flush. You impress me mutchly
