Park Brake Hold (Noobie Question)
Hey Guys,
First time owner of W222. On my 2015 S63, when I start the car, shift into drive, the park brake still holds the car. Either I manually release it, or hit the accelerator pedal a bit to release it. Is there a way to make it Auto Release upon shifting into Drive or Reverse from Park?
I had an older E class, GLE350, C63s, all of them doesn't do that.....
Thanks,
Wayne

Don't know the answer to your question....
but my GLC does the same (which my previous GLC didn't do!)
So. ..I'm presuming it's a new 'thing'!

I'd like an answer to this too.
I'm in a '17 S550.
I have to hit the gas quite hard sometimes to make the car move,.... and it makes for a very jerky beginning to the trip.
I'm especially hesitant to stomp that hard on the gas that hard when pulling out of my garage.
Normally I just put a car in reverse, and let it ease out at idle on the torque converter. I'll even have my right foot covering the brake,.. and I can modulate my speed with the brake.
In this car I have to go medium throttle,... and NO brake. So if I don't have the steering wheel just perfect,.. I'm going to rip off the side mirror, or even wipe out the side of the car..
