w222 steering wheel squeak/rubbing sound

I have not driven my W222 for about 4 weeks. I tried to take it for a spin when I came back and noticed that the steering wheel makes a squeak or ribbing noise when I turn the steering wheel slowly left or right. I know there is a service campaign about steering shift for a noise from the bottom, byt this is parently different as it's coming (i can also feel it) from the area right behind the steering?
Any thoughts? Should I try to remove the plastic trim and spray silicone based lubricant?

Too many german broads
Had the SAME issue after not driving a while. Had video but dealer could not reproduce after few days of testing. Has not returned. I thought it was the boot.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Yep, on my old 2015 it would do the same thing if I left it sitting for a while and then eventually go away after driving it for a week or so. Not really sure what it was.

I am sure that it has something to do with car not being driven for awhile. Should i try to lubricate the assembly behind the plastic trim behind the steering wheel?

My rubbing is in the column and DOES NOT go away with use. It goes away when parked overnight. I used to believe the noise would start when I went over speed bumps or rumble strips, but recently it has shown up randomly after driving a while. Dealer said to come in when it's actually happening, but I have not been lucky enough to have it happen when I could drive the hour to the dealer. I'm thinking of leaving it there a week and asking them to have someone use it as their daily driver. But, I am not sure about that.

Does it do it when driving and not moving?
