Why did MB so obviously ruin the new S Class? After watching this review, NEVER!

100% agree. Sometimes I wonder what people are are thinking they make these design changes. I believe the focus is to create memorable design features, even if polarizing. Standout in any way possible
You might not believe it but the buck tooth design is starting to have a real following...In regards to the M8, I really like the car. Not without faults but very comfortable, wicked fast and quite nice inside (individual leather interior) and it has big hips
It's the widest car BMW makes so it gives it a proper stance...

That said, it is a big departure from the W222 and I am looking forward to seeing the car in the flesh. No better way to judge how the car looks and feels...

The interior of the W223 has some gorgeous elements, but I find the overall style of the W222 to be superior. Mainly, I do not like the large central touchscreen and I really do love the W222's dual screen setup. The W223 screen looks, like so many other cars, tacked on. Someone else mentioned that the vents are not centered with the touchscreen and now I can't stop seeing that. I also agree that the vents (in shape and size) do not go with the car. I am not sure why they changed from the W222's style.
Overall, I am confident the W223 is a better car than the W222. But I would agree that some styling elements seem like a step backwards. I wonder if W221 owners felt this way when the W222 came out.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Getting back to the original topic, I have to say the front seats in the new car are not even close to being as comfortable as my S560 were. To the point where I might sell the car because of it.
And if you go with the 20's think again. The ride is just plain harsh if the roads you drive on are less than perfect.
My S63 and S580 below.

Moving up to a GLS63 and picking up a 2020 S63 Cabriolet both in designo Diamond White.
I am putting my 21 S63 Coupe under a cover and not driving as much. The S63 convertible will be fun in Florida
Honestly though, just makes me
love my W222 that much more. This car has been a rock for me. Unlike past MBz from my 99 CL600 and S500’s to my 03 CL500, this thing even at 90kmi on 22” wheels, rides like butter tried and true straight as an arrow. Still feels like a thoroughbred running down the stretch in Saratoga.
Should be….”The best or the W223” now
Thanks for hearing my rant (and vent).
Long love the W222

Some people just have to pretend the car they have is the best one that was ever designed. Go out and buy a new $130,000 Range Rover and post some pics. We'll wait lol
