Get the car back from the repair and give it a little time and see if she comes around.

Cars break, nothing is perfect.

M17x cam cover re-sealing and rear main seal failure from plugged oil vapor separators. MB hasn't changed.

I have a cousin who leases a new S-class every 2 years, this dates back to the early 90's he has a business that he runs it through and he drives a lot. He had an early 223 and had nothing big problems with it. He told me he hated it, to make things easier on him the dealership that he's been loyal to since he started doing this took it back after 18 months and gave him a 2024 in late 2023 and just saw him last week and he said they had fixed most of the stuff in it. He said he still prefers hard buttons and the interior look but "I have gotten used to it". that seems like an excuse to someone that loves this brand and has 40 years of loyality.

I think the early ones were the really problematic ones. Since I am considering one I have been asking people who I come across in the real world who have W223s how they like them, and I have not encountered one person who hasn't said they loved it. I also have encountered multiple people who have had 222s and now have 223s and they too all love the new one

That sounds like how I felt about the W221...I hated the stupid looking wheel arches! They don't bother me as much anymore, but glad we don't have that on the W222. As for the W223, it too feminine looking for my tastes. It's kind fo a moot point for me anywhay since my next car won't be ICE, electric or hybrid next, and not a mild hybrid like the W223 S63e.

Here's what some guys think the 2025 S-Class will look like:

2025 is unchanged, the 26 will be a refresh but it won't be anything that dramatic. it'll be new lights front and rear and probably the superscreen/hyperscreen inside.
