Rear Seat Entertainment Screens

Do the screens detach (easily) so you can take them out of the car? Seems they might get banged around when people get in and out of the back seat or even inviting to a thief.

If think this option could be useful on a long trip when someone in back could enjoy watching a movie, but wondering how practical to live with on a daily basis.

I was looking at mine. Seems like they are mounted fairly solid. I can imagine you've have to disconnect wires too. I just decided to leave mine in. I thought about that too that maybe the car is more likely to get broken into but I doubt it. Thieves are mainly looking for cash, they wouldn't be able to sell screens like these for much and would probably destroy them ripping them out.
