Just wondering if anybody has experienced moisture in their headlights in the updated 2018 and newer S-Class models. This has been an issue in 2017 and older models and I wanted to see if Mercedes has corrected this problem with the redesigned headlamps on 2018+ models.

The night that I bought my 2017 S63, it had been raining all day. The late evening when I was signing all the paperwork to finance the car and take delivery of it, the headlights had moisture in them. The next day and from then on the headlights never had moisture in them again. I know that's not helping you with your issue but it baffles me why it didn't happen again. 80,000+ miles later I finally traded it for a 2019 S560 and I've never had the moisture issue with it at all. It's puzzling why certain cars have this issue but others don't.

Thanks for posting about your experience.
It seems like you do a lot of highway driving. Maybe that increases the ventilation in the headlamps and helps get rid of, or prevent, moisture in your headlamps. I'm also assuming you garage your car instead of leaving it parked outside overnight. That helps too, reducing big temperature swings.
Dealers normally wash a used car right before they take photos. While I was looking at used 2017 S550's I've actually seen moisture in the headlamps in some dealer photos. I'm hoping Mercedes made some improvements on the updated headlamps for 2018+ models.
It seems like I found the answer to my question. I found dealer photos of a CPO 2019 S560 with less than 2,000 miles on it and you can clearly see in the photos that there is moisture in the driver side headlamp.

Thank you for posting this as I prefer the prefacelift headlight look one of the reasons to consider the facelift version is in the hope that the headlight moisture issue was cured. We now know that it hasn't been.
