I use it on 2019 model (restyle) and no any problems. I forgot what it is, start-stop system )
And I was on standart oil service at official dealer - they not see any changes and no questions with guarantee. It is safety 100%.

Not interested in one myself, I really don't mind the start/stop tech. If I had a 4 cylinder C or E class I think it would bother me as those cars with that motor don't start up as smoothly as the V8s and V6 motors.

Aside from annoyance of having to shut it off, my concern is wearing out the starter. I don't know if they improved the starters to handle the additional load or not.
With 2018 up S560s can’t even get away from it in sport mode eco is still active.
with the starters it’s starting in a different way than a car is normally started so no worries there with wearing out the starter motors. You hardly ever hear of starter motors going on these cars.
The starter in a car with auto start stop is different from a normal starter. You don't h have to worry about it wearing out
didn’t read your post above. Lol. I duplicated it. I’ve heard that guy from Belarus knows what he is doing so I don’t think you’d have any problems with the module. The install looks pretty simple.
Apparently, the one he's selling for $499+SH is for 10 Activations, which means you can use that OBD plug on 10 different Mercedes vehicles. That comes out to $50 a pop, which isn't bad. If you have a used car dealership or a bunch of friends who drive Mercedes that could be worth it.
