Oil Leak
Hi Guys
I have a oil leak on the drivers side of the engine that drips on the manifold and smells of burning oil, a indy shop said it was from my valve cover gasket and was a 10 hour job to repair, does anyone know if this is correct

Look you can always get another opinion. You could always add die to the oil and then use a blacklight to track down the exact leak.
Be sure to check to see if any crankcase vent lines are not slowly loosing tiny bits of oil and causing this......would not be the least bit surprised to find a loose connection on a rubber vent line hose.

Mine has a leak on the driver side of rear side engine, it has oil burning on the manifold there, i will take it to another indy shop and see what they say.
Its not a bad leak as i never have to top it up, just smells of burning oil of the manifold
