Superpop I dont take offense to your price point of view. I dont have any need to sell my car. If someone wants something more than a regular S Class they will be interested.
And you're glad you don't own a Lexus because of this rule?

In fact, on CL the only thing that might have gotten this thread closed is that members aren't supposed to post vehicles for sale in the model specific forum. But for a longtime member like this they would leave this alone probably.
I have 37,000 posts on CL so I know them pretty well.

PS I reported you for your last post because this is suggesting deception when its false. your telling lies. Oh please post this carfax your talking about I would love to see it where I took the car in monthly for a year when of course that never happened and the best one the transmission change. Cant wait to see it.

She was taking it in for almost monthly service visits from March, 2017 through March, 2018 during which point she put on 24k miles. Kind of makes one wonder why it was in the shop so often.
Then there was a 19 month gap between documented service visits where she put on 32k miles during that time. Was she going to a different shop for service during that time that doesn't report to CarFax? Perhaps. But she wasn't taking it to her regular dealer during that time.
Then there was a new transmission installed at 68k miles in Oct, 2019. You'd think that a meticulously maintained car wouldn't need a new transmission at only 68k miles. But don't worry....the trans failed in my S600 with only 28k miles and needed replacement. Perhaps they can't handle the twist of the V12.
So perhaps a little truth in advertising would be helpful.

Dave can you provide a link to said Carfax or a screen copy?
Edit: I see that Katie22 already asked you to post it.

Running a carfax report on someone else's car - that you have no intention of buying - is an odd move.
Dave - I'm planning to sell my 2016 E350 for $38,000 - if I send you the VIN will you run me a report? I want to make sure that deer incident I had isn't going to show up.

Dave take your lies and run. I already reported you for slander. If I could take you to court I would love to sue your *** for slander.

IMO this entire thread is getting beyond what it should be. Time for the moderators to call a halt to it.

Dave you could be correct that my price is too high but then I have herd that before and still sold things for what I asked. If I dont sell it that's fine as well.
PS do you have any factual evidence to show that my V12 engine is going to have all these failures your talking about. You mentioned coils and on my car each cylinder has its own coil made by Delphi. Seems to me they probably are similar to what are used on many other cars and nothing out of the ordinary.
No worries on your V12. Dave is thinking of the old V12 engine (M275/M285) which used to have pricey coil pack replacements. Same as the ABC. People often discuss problems of decades old designs that don't relate to your car at all

Your engine (M277) has been extensively redesigned and has none of the prior maintenance issues; same goes for the updated ABC which went from horrible unreliable to non-issue as well. Same for the transmission.
The only thing one has to deal with are the engine mounts collapsing over time (results of a high torque engine and weight). That stuff is cheap.

Below are repairs that I have dont outside of maintenance (if I recall these were documented in the forum).
1. I have replaced TWO drive belt idler pulleys for about 200 dollars.
2. I have replaced one AC hose that was leaking for about 130 dollars.
3. I replaced the front radar cover due to chrome delaminating.
4. I fixed the rear tire inner wear by replacing the rear camber rods with adjustable ones. The shop that did the alignment after I installed the camber rods told me that the weird growling noise my car was making was the transmission and it needed replaced.
I took the car to the Mercedes dealer and they determined the weird growling noise was the ABC pump and they replaced that for about 2700 dollars.
5 Replaced the driver side front wheel hub for 130 dollars.
6. Took the car to the dealer because the passenger seat memory function was acting strange and would not work when the headrest was all the way up. They did not solve the problem. On the way home I noticed the seat air bladder system was not working. I took it back the next day and told they it was working when I took it to them. They said that one of the tubes in the passenger seat bust and replaced it for about 2000 dollars. I still wonder if they messed something up since it was working when I took it to them.
That sums up all the REPAIRS that the car has had in 75,000 miles. I have certainly spent a lot of time doing all the maintenance including the trans fluid flush and spark plugs. ALL this was done by myself.
I have never had the transmission replaced or repaired. I only changed the fluid and filter at 60,000 miles.

Interesting that it also says on 9/23/20 Mercedes of Melbourne changed the oil. That never happened since I do the oil myself.
So the carfax is not accurate. And no the transmission was never changed.

Yes we brought it with about 8000 miles on in from a real estate guy in Gainsville Florida.
Dave I realize you did get the correct carfax for a car you didnt want to buy. What's terrible is that you insinuated that I was hiding work for a period of time which is not true. Also the carfax is not accurate because like I said the latest post said Mb of Melbourne changed the oil which never happened and then Bavarian Haus changing the transmission never happened and that can be verified by calling them. Why it says they did I have no idea.
