While enjoying the winter storm/power outage here in Austin, we noticed that our S550 was beeping for no apparent reason. One beep, every ten seconds or so, all day long.

Got in and turned it on and no warning lights or error messages. No doors ajar or other obvious issues.

I have an oak limb lying across the driveway (and the roads are still icy), so won't be driving anytime soon, but just curious what in the world the beeping could be about.

I've not heard of that specifically. Have you checked battery health? Perhaps a battery maintainer (assuming power is on) would be a good idea.
