Your ignorance is amazing but not surprising. No need to continue to prove it. Trump lost, by the way.
I'll repost this since you didn't comprehend it the first time.

It is so depressing when partisan politics are brought onto these boards, especially at the level in this thread. There’s enough of this BS everywhere else. Must we have it here as well? Cant you guys simply agree to disagree and leave it at that?

This is one of those times I agree with you. Not sure why the monkey is getting political because he can't comprehend the nature of the thread and statistics. I'm sorry your thread got all mucked up with Tesla crap. That company wouldn't know much about any kind of "luxury experience".

The problem is when you try and have a rational discussion using numbers and facts with a braindead and close-minded magat, it's just impossible to get through. There's not a fact in the world they can comprehend and process. I called him out and I was correct. I won't spend any more energy on that.
Anyhow, Tesla model X is miles ahead of a 222 s-class in brand appeal and technology. Just the gull wing doors alone would have MB in trouble if they tried. Yes, MB fancies up the interior to cater to the boomers who like things like old brown wooden furniture, but Tesla's luxury is in the minimalist modern interiors and technology.

There's no reason to bring your mom into this conversation unless she happens to drive a Benz and has problems with the "dealership experience".

The issue with shortage of loaner cars is going to be around for at least several months. There is a huge shortage in computer chips that power the many processors in all cars which has been around for several months due to chip makers not being prepared for the stresses and changes brought on by COVID last spring and the need to build more computers due to the shut down and people suddenly having to work and do school from home. The Suez Canal fiasco greatly exacerbated the problem. This affects all makes of cars, home computers, cell phones, video game consoles, etc. It is causing a major disruption in automotive production, causing some plants to close temporarily as they can't build cars with lots of processors. This has caused a huge demand in the used car market and is causing the price of used cars to actually go up. Because there is a shortage of cars to sell, MB and all manufacturers will have less loaner cars available as they are selling those cars. So it's not a problem with poor service at the dealerships by not having loaner cars available at the drop of a hat. It is always best to call the service department first and schedule for when they have a car available....and not just show up for service expecting a loaner to be ready.

When there isn't a car available, my local dealer will call an UBER or LYFT to get me home and back to the dealer when service is complete on their dime. If it's going to be in for an extended period, they will still schedule the loaner and have UBER bring me back to the dealership when it's available.

Then you don't have to. Thats why there are options. You give your advice and let others give theirs.

Sounds like you need to try a new dealer

To be fair, you're the one that started the thread down a political path.

You mean this quote? "Electric cars are extremely annoying to drive. I can't blame MB for dragging their feet. And once Republicans take back control of both chambers of Congress next Fall and the presidency in 2024 (depending on how much the Democrats cheat), and gas prices begin to fall again, the rush to green tech will slow dramatically and companies like Cadillac who are banking on being fully electric in 2035 will see their sales plummet as they'll be left holding the bag."

Do you really think that quote justified the moronic memes and comments from Monkey Boy? My comments were in regards to the coming slow down in the current full on assault toward the Fraud New Deal.

Unfortunately not sure even a Republican sweep can stop the green train at this point. Seems like the greenies are achieving their agenda despite what we think or want.

That was certainly one example. You can't complain about a thread getting political when you're the one who takes it there.

I just don't agree at all. I'm 39 and Teslas just don't appeal to me. The cars (other than the Model S) are ugly, their build quality is terrible, their interiors are crappy. It has nothing to do with them being an EV, I would buy an EV for the right product, but don't assume that everyone under the age of 50 finds Tesla "more appealing" because that just isn't true.

It had more to do with the "why" I believe the push to all electric will come to an end since that is all politically motivated by leftist globalists.

"depends on how much the democrats cheat" is a fiercely partisan political statement.

We all have our political views and some of us would love more than to share them, however, we don't out of respect for the purpose of the forum, because we recognize that those comments will distract us from the reason that we come to this forum in the first place, that being sharing our knowledge, enjoyment and sometimes frustrations with these cars. At the end of the day its all about the cars.

Not me. I came here to learn and contribute knowledge where I can. I really don't care how much certain people are in love with their cars. Cars are inanimate objects, not people.

Totally agree

If you don't understand that many people do not agree with that statement, I don't know what to tell you.

Point is you were the one who put politics into the thread...which is fine just don't cry about the thread being political when you were the one who took it there.
