Door Chime
Is there a way to turn off the chime that sounds every time you open a door? I get to hear it every time I go to get something out of the back seat, throw a jacket back there before we leave to go somewhere, etc., etc.
Seems an utterly useless feature, does anyone really need a sound to know they opened a door?

I'm guessing this is part of the standard coding options of the instrument cluster... (similar to gong when in reverse for Asian markets, Gong when exceeding 120KM/h for Gulf or seatbelt warning that can be disabled for any market).

I agree, out of all the noises this car makes the door opening GONG is awful. I looked through onboard menus as well and couldn't find a way to shut it off.

In the old days cars had a discrete device that produced the various little sounds like this ... I remember with great satisfaction finding it under the dash of a Nissan, taking it out and smashing into a million pieces with a sledgehammer
