Rear end kicks out going through puddle

Ok i have moved back East and am looking at S classes again. I hate tech so i am having difficulty with buying the 223. Dealer tells me to take a 2020 home for the day. All is familiar and fine. It has a bit more bells and whistles then our 2015 had.

Problem is it rained. As crazy as this sounds I lived in San Diego and dont think I ever drove the 2015 in a heavy rain.

Any way on highway doing about 70 and there is a shallow puddle on in the gutter of left lane that is extending into lane. It does'nt appear to be more than an inch or maybe 2" deep. The front of the cars barrels through but the moment the rear tires hit the *** end just kicked out. It scared the crap out of me and apparently the car behind me who was nice enough to give me the finger as they went by.

This happens about 4-5 more times. Its a new car with a couple thousand miles on it. The tires look brand new.

Anybody else have any wet weather issues with w222 ?????

Is that a 4matic or RWD? Also, those RFT's are garbage and handle just like the garbage that they are. Perhaps try to work out a deal with the dealer to swap in some General AS-05 tires all around and take the fear out of your life.

Let me ask a question:: When you were driving and hit the puddle of water,

a) was the puddle on the driver's side or on the passenger's side ?
b) did the rear of the car head toward the puddle or away from the puddle ?

Probably just a tire issue. These cars are amazing. GET IT! You'll be so happy you did. I've had new cars with crappy tires, handled like dog poop, changed the tires and voila, perfect car.
