Question tyre pressure issue aftter changing to new rims

hi everyone, I replaced ugly factory rims with genuine AMG 20" night rims (used ones) which all had functional pressure sensors. After driving about 15 minutes an error message popped up. I checked the tyre pressure menu but same msg appeared, so there were no options to reset it. Whats next? I highly doubt that all 4 sensors are broken, its rather unlikely. Any suggestions how to reset them if car wont connect with them at all? Although previous owner had W213 but should'nt pressure sensors be like universally readable on all MB models? My sar is 2016 S500 4M.

You will need to verfiy that both sets of TPMS sensors use the same frequency. In the US they are both 433htz, but not sure if that is the same in other parts of the world. You can get a tool to scan /read the sensors in your tires now to get the Serial numbers and then have them programmed into your car so that they will read correctly.

Did you try and reset the values?

SOLVED!

I found out that rims were previously on E-class and their sensors don't match with S-class and got sensors changed (180 euros). Then it regognized sensors after 10 minutes of driving allowing to reset them and voila, all done! So you better be sure that coming off different MB sensors will match your vehicle
