Apologies, slight hijack ... was there a 2019 hybrid S?
Looking through S-class brochures and didn't see mention of it the 2019 edition. S560E reappeared in the 2020 brochure, with a mention of a "compact underhood lithium-ion battery". In the specs section it shows a single 18.7 cu ft trunk capacity number for sedans, including the 'E' variant, so maybe they did relocate the battery for 2020?.

Nope, they didn't make one in 2019, I picked up my 2016 in April 2019 and remembered the sales guy at one dealership saying to me they didn't make one as "which S-Class buyer cares about gas mileage. I was in the minority but I love the car.... great gas mileage, only a little less power and the dreaded complaints about the shut off/on feature are not an issue as they car shuts off the gas motor as you coast into a stop, and I often do use nothing electric power to run short errands. I love seeing MPG for tanks as high as 50 MPG when I use a lot of short trip Electric.

There is one S560E for sale on Autotrader
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ngId=592032389
Interesting history - former lease car returned after 1 year. Custom 1 year lease?
In either case, would love to pick up a certified 2019 or 2020 when the itch to upgrade from the C350e comes!

Interesting, the brochure says the lithium-ion battery for 19s and 20s is under the hood, but it looks like there's still a big box at the forward end of trunk like on the previous MYs ?

Pretty sure that it is in the trunk like my 16's which steals a bit of trunk room. Interestingly this car doesn't seem to have a ton of features or at least they are not highlighing any, for sure no AMG package nor does it look like it has distronitic plus. Since this isn't be offered at a MB dealership i don't think it can be a CPO but given that it is a 19' it has plenty of standard warranty left.

I’m interested in looking out for a CPO S560e - anyone know if MBUSA offered the S560e as both 2019 and 2020 model years or just 2019? I have never actually seen a used 2020 but there are 2020 reviews.
Would like to get the newest to maximize on warranty more than anything else.

Both 2019 and 2020 S560e's are currently available for sale on the used market here in the US. The 2019 is also certified.
I too was skeptical about the 2019 as I was told those weren't sold in the US. But pictures of the car on Autotrader show a picture of the emissions tag located under the hood and it states "2019MY" so it must be real. If it had more equipment or lower miles, I'd actually consider buying it. The 2020 S560e is in Wisconsin according to Cars.com. Not certified but only 900 miles. It was originally sold in Montréal so I'm not sure if it is a long or short wheelbase vehicle.
I love these plugin hybrids and am actively looking for another one.

Wow that is so weird because in 2019 when I was looking for a CPO I was told by Autobaun motos in Silicon Valley area that they were not being made anymore. I was only looking to test drive one locally as I planned to buy a 2016 CPO but wanted to drive one before i traveled hundreds of miles to go and buy one site unseen and not test driven. I couldn't find a 2019 new anywhere in US at the time but was looking for one in Bay Area and we have 12+ dealerships in 75 miles range.

The Walnut Creek dealership just took on a 2019 white s560e. Originally registered in 6/22 so it’s got a lot of new car warranty left plus the CPO

I'd love to try out one of these. We've had three Honda hybrid cars and it would be nice to see how Mercedes did with braking feel and some of the other hybrid engineering challenges. As well as whether tthe battery is still in the trunk or moved somewhere else as stated in the 2020 brochure.

Intereting I wonder how this MSRP's for 137k? Mine was 117k and looks like similar equipment for 16' model. But man are prices crazy I paid 58k with 32k in April 2019 and this 27k more!!!! I could have bought my car and a nice Honda Civic as an extra spare car. Shows what used car market is like now. If this was less I would have considered flipping for the 19' to get 9 speed auto and android auto.

FWIW the C350e is really smooth. The transition from EV to petrol motor is imperceptible 99.9% of the time, the brake feel is OK still very Prius-ey though but not bad
Running on EV mode is addictive. It’s just so smooth and comfortable. I can’t imagine how nice the S560e or the newer S580e are…

Well I love my 550e the switch from gas to electric is seamless and this si the only car I have ever been in with gas shutoff as you coast into a stop. I have had this feature in severals cars including a ***** Chevy rental car for a week (figured out how to turn it off) and in with a E-Class 2021 loaner. The car also can really get great gas mileage while still being every bit as nice as any S550. I would love to have seen a 2020 with more electric range but they never did up it, I expect the 2021-22 models will have much more range.

2019 Mercedes C63s Coupe
Looking for a trickle charger for my 2019 Mercedes C63s. Something that I can plug in during the winter months that can keep the battery charged up in good health. Do the Pre Facelift vs Facelift have the same batteries or are they different? Here is what I found on amazon which ones would you guys recommend if any?
