S63 Factory Tires

I know this is not the S63 forum but it seems to be more active. Anyone know which version of the Michelin tire came from the factory. I have the 20" Forged 10 spoke wheels. Car has Michelin PS3 MO and the Merc dealer said that this car was supposed to come with RFT tires.

Just to remind everyone, if you leased your car, you'll have to return the car with the same type of tire you left the dealership with the day you signed the contract. If you started with RF tires, you have to return it with RF tires if they go by the book. Some dealerships might not care now that used cars are a premium these days, and I'm darn sure they won't care if you purchase/lease another car from them but look carefully at the contract to make sure they didn't charge you for tire replacements.

Thanks MB, I purchased this car from a broker and I suspect someone decided to swap the tires with 9K miles for a set that is much more used thinking I would not notice. If the 2019 came with Michelin PS3 MO non RFT tires then I am probably just stuck with what I have.

I do not believe the AMG W222 S-class comes with run-flat tires.

Many owners that did get RFTs (in non-AMG W222s) switch them out to non-RFTs for the notable improvement in ride quality, less noise, less likelihood of bent wheels.

I don’t think the S63 came with RF tires.

Superpop how do you like the 3D sound after having a modified non 3D sound car? I am borrowing a similarly optioned S63 for the weekend and surprisingly unimpressed with 3D, as my 550 with non 3D has a JL sub and amp which sounds great.

The S63 and S65 did not have RFT's. There should be a mobility kit under the trunk floor that includes an inflator and tank of "goo."
The tire size, load range and speed rating posted by Konigstiger are correct. However my S65 has the PS 4S tires with an MB specific designator in the tire code.

I bought a brand new 2017 S63 and it came with non-RF tires. It chewed up tires very quickly and in the past I've always gotten at least 30K miles on a set of staggered tires, regardless of non-RF or RF tires. The S63 would go through them in less than 15K miles. I decided to always keep the suspension in "sport" mode and it doubled my miles for a set of tires. Alignment was checked and the toe-in was checked, camber, etc. and at the end of the day, my trick worked. Keep it in Sport suspension mode all the time.

The 3D is nowhere near as powerful as the set-up I had but I am satisfied with it. What I had before was probably overkill and I was concerned that I was shortening the life of my alternator because of the current draw. My amps were drawing around 80A between the two of them and while the MB alternator was fine with keeping up with the demands I am sure it would catch up to me at some point. Kept all the gear and will probably sell it all as these high end electronics are in hot demand right now because of shortages.
