My third S Class, the velvet hammer. Love the tech and sound, not a big fan of the active collision avoidance at this point. Hopefully that gets fixed next week.
Burmester high end is much better than standard Burmester but no where near as sonically loud or accurate as my last setup. Problem with the last set up was the amp draw from the JL Audio amps. They are very efficient amps but potentially draw up to 80A between the two of them under peak load. I was always worried about taxing my alternator or shortening it lifespan. The other downside was I was constantly fiddling with the tune to accommodate the wide variety of music I listen to. With the Burmester HE it is pretty much tuned out of the box. May do something with a few key speakers but will probably just leave it alone.

This is one thing that I have found with my subwoofer, I am fiddling with it a lot whereas with a fully OEM setup like the ML in my previous Lexus I never had to mess with it. Thats a big benefit of a 100% OEM tuned system.
