The part number for the storage drawer with no 12V lighter/socket is A2226804302. I was able to pick one up on eBay for around $80. The fabric liner in the bottom of the drawer has tabs holding it down but can be easily removed for cleaning.

Love that! How hard is it to install?

I'll find that out this weekend!

The leather trim/cover on the end of the drawer just unclips along the bottom edge, which makes it easy to remove the two torx screws holding the whole assembly in. (Which also means if you get a used one like I did and it has the wrong color cover, you can swap it out.) My understanding is that the wood trim below also needs to be removed but in my case I'm half removing the entire center console to run some wire from the now-unused cigarette lighter to a USB charger in the rear.

This YouTube video (from thread "need info on removing front ashtray") shows how to remove the drawer/ashtray assembly:

Super easy ... a T20 screw on either side and out she comes. Great to see there's a version made just for storage without the lighter, place for an ash holder, etc. I created my own tray by cutting out the plastic dividers to create a flat bottom. Wonderful place to stash my cell phone or other stuff that a thief would probably never know to look for ...

You did an awesome job modifying the drawer! I was going to try that myself if I couldn't source the storage tray, but I've had mixed results taking on projects like that.

Nice job! How difficult is it to cut the vertical plastic pieces to create a flat bottom? What did you use to cut them out? I’ve had challenges finding the tray without lighter /ashtray that is already flat so thought I’d do as you mentioned.

Usually I’m driving by myself but if I have my wife or daughter in the front seat, I find myself complaining about no storage or nooks to place anything - this would be a nice option area.

It's a fun little project, not too difficult. The obvious tool to remove the plastic pieces is a Dremel tool, but I did most of it with my 'flush cut' saw ...https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-...saw-62118.html.

Much of the bottom had to be removed, so I just glued in a new cardboard bottom to have a nice flat surface ...
