need info on removing front ashtray

Need to remove front ashtray so i can tap the cigarette lighter wire for radar detector. Screw on each side of it buy wont budge..

Thanks for that, I am still waiting for my US 560 4 Matic that I ordered in May, arrived in July, and is still at the VPC awaiting release.
I am hoping to hardwire my V1 through the cigarette lighter as well.

If you are tapping the cig lighter for power, it's a little bit more involved than that. The hardest part is removing the wood grain top piece.
