I had Benz Ninja (Peter) change the coding on my 2014 s63 AMG to install ILS. He told me that it would be limited because the assembly did not have all the capability of later versions.
Can anyone tell me if the physical assembly of a 2017 s63 AMG install correctly on a 2014 ? I won't make the change until I confirm with BN that the coding will yield full ILS+.
Appreciate the knowledge of the forum members.
If it will work then I will need advice on what to buy to make the change
Thanks
Anybody have any input?
I would really like to make this change if it can be done
Hey big shout out for Peter who helped with an issue in my 222 S65 this afternoon. Fresh software and some time riding the rodeo bull (ABC making an odd noise!) and I have a plan moving forward. Peter’s Depth of knowledge and professionalism are as always much appreciated.
Membership is well worth it.... and I learn something every time.
Whatever transpired that got Peter a time out.... I’m sure the troll had it coming to him. LOL
I have had the Peter's product for years. I have ALWAYS received outstanding support from him.
Not sure what went on here.... but, politics should stay out of it. We have enough of that crap in the world.
This forum should be for Mercedes lovers.
I have always had outstand support from Peter and so called "time-out" seems kinda childish.
Get the BenzNinja toady... you will never regret it!! I sure don't!
If you think you have a better product and know more.... prove it with you product and support... and stop being a *****!
Just my opinion!!
I recently had remote coding done on a different car, a w-212. I had some things added via remote coding, and all that worked out fine, the problem is I have the below error messages coming from the left headlight ECU. The reputable person I was using to get the coding done, showed me the codes, and told me those have to be dealt with because he tried deleting them but they came back, meaning he cannot code ILS plus onto the car unless they are cleared.
My mechanic is a benz only specialist so I do not doubt that they can take care of the problem, but in the meantime, I wanted to post the codes and see if there's anything I can do to fix it as it will be a good month or two before I take it to the shop.

Bad coding
likely done by a clown, reputable "clown", not coder
At BenzNinja you will never see this. We give back the car 100% clean only
Not impressed with the sales pitch, but if you can look at those codes and guarantee me you can code in ILS-plus with those codes present, I'd at least listen.

100%
as said, when we code, we give back the car 100% clean 0 faults
Not helpful, but please feel free to share specifics. Everything else works as promised and agreed upon.
Are you saying he should have been able to code ILS plus in with these error messages present, which reappeared after he attempted to clear them?
You are asking to share specifics when this is how Benz Ninja makes his living.
I have a Benz only mechanic that keeps me running in top form but he is amazed that Benz Ninja put ILS on a 2014 S63. He was sure it couldn't be donebe looked forward to every night ride

Although my ILS (one of the two services I purchased) did not perform as expected, I got in touch with BenzNinja and he immediately said he would fix it. Since I only live part time in the US I didn’t have the opportunity to really test it in the correct circumstances when the service was first done, so that might be on me 😂
But Ninja was very helpful and said next time I’m in the US he would solve the issue. No complaints in dealing with. My case could probably have been avoided if I had the time to test it out properly test it out the first time.
👍👍👍

it will work no worries
Happy 4th Happy Independence Day!
BenzNinja did my 2015 S63 with no issue along with some other coding. Excellent to work with, highly recommend. He seems to be highly respected here on this forum.
2106 ILS coding along with a few other things a few months ago or maybe more. We had an issue while doing my car, tried to install AMG instruments but it wasn't compatable with my car (S5550e all hybrid menus were gone) and he put it right back and didn't charge me for it. ILS is amazing!! Peter was great and will use him again if I have any issues in the future.
