there is no W223 solution yet as it requires a echeanced certificate to bypass new locking
possible, but to expensive for coders for now, it would raise the coding price to a not reasonable price
in simple language, it's a new locking system

New E53 build just dropped ILS
My dealer just contacted me about my E53, scheduled for production 09/2D/2022. He said the LED Intelligent Light System (ILS) will not be included but Automatic Highbeams and LED lights are standard and will still be included. Will I be able to unlock the ILS or will it be missing a required chip?

One point to consider and I do not know the answer: When OTA updates are done, which is frequently, will the "unlocked ILS" revert back to standard thus forcing you to once again to "unlock" the chip?
Now that ILS are legal in the US, I am surprised that a model with a build date of September, 2022 would not have the ILS - but then again maybe (hoping) your dealer is wrong!

I just spoke to the dealer to get clarification on ILS deletion. He said that the Exterior Lighting Package (DA4) has been removed as an option. But, The LED lights and Automatic Highbeams are now standard. He is unable to get a response from MB whether that means ILS is also standard or has been dropped for some reason. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Does anyone have a list of options available and the cost for each one, this way when we get the laptop, we can pick all items and have them done at the same time and have a menu to choose from knowing the pricing going in.

All Cars Lost To Hurricane Isaac (W124 E420 revived - added 88 Allante 14 S550, 17 S63
I was driving on a road with 2 lanes For my direction of travel....a 3rd lane opened/started to my left... The left headlight began to search for a couple of seconds and then the left headlight lit up that left lane that had just started All the way past the car that was way up ahead of me..
.. The system logically went from lighting up the terrain which was a short wide beam..to lighting up the the newly started lane with a.long narrow beam.... The system is active and recognized that the terrain suddenly turned into an additional lane and it acted accordingly........instantly..
To witness this is pretty cool...
