Gear going out into the wild Tuesday!

I've lived in DFW basically my entire life... but moved to MI 3 years ago. The hardware is headed my way to Ann Arbor, and then I'm sending right back to DFW.

Small world, and many kudos to @compaddict for making this all possible!

Just had a great WhatsApp chat with @BenzNinja who’s currently working his magic on ILS+ and ECO remember. @compaddict ships the hardware very securely.

Took a little longer than expected, because...German engineering. But, Peter / @BenzNinja came through, per usual, with the ILS+. And...he now has the coding on hand for anyone else with an E coupe/C238.

The hardware bundle will be off to its new foster home/my hometown of Dallas tomorrow. @Anu0129 - Please reach out to @compaddict or myself tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon for your tracking info.

If I understand this correctly once I've signed up with BenzNinja I have to wait for the laptop and related software to be shipped around to everyone before I gets shipped to me? Do I have that right? How long does this usually take and is everyone happy with it?

My E53 is scheduled for 2D September 2022 so I don't think I'll see it much before Spring of '23. If I'm lucky. Not bad paying sticker for a '22 model and having it show up well after '23 has gone into production.

680.00 to my Paypal account and when the next user takes possession, I refund 620.00.
You are responsible for shipping to the next user. UPS, 900.00 insurance and signature required.
If the unit is not in the wild, you are responsible for shipping from me and to the next user..
If multiple people want to use at the same address, the rental is 60.00 per user.

I just wrapped up a session with @BenzNinja this morning on my 2015 s63, his coding is legit and top notch. Some of my activated options below w/ description. Big thanks to @compaddict for getting the hardware all set up and coordinating the shipping/tracking.

ILS+ - Like everyone has said, the high beams cut out boxes around any affected vehicles. I have not been "flashed" at back.

Sign Recognition - Dash (speed gauge area) will display speed signage and other little things as you drive along.

Map update - Legit map package w/ codes. I was in major need of an update since I was on 2014 maps.

Remember Start/Stop mode last selected

Added Sport+ - 2015 s63 only had comfort and sport, raises shift points, pretty aggressive.

Start in Sport mode/Remember last mode selected - Now able to start in sport mode instead of default to comfort mode every time you shut off then restart car. I was considering purchasing the Renntech Valve controller but the coding to start in Sport mode opens the exhaust valves upon start. This essentially saved over $700 for the Renntech unit. You must have the "remember start/stop" coded to have this in order to work. While in comfort mode, shut off start/stop, switch to sport mode, now vehicle will remember to start in sport mode.

Overall, highly recommended, I was very impressed by his knowledge and coding skills. I opted in on the membership and will be purchasing hardware (computer, C4 unit etc) for future diagnostic use w/ Peter. For anyone with a long list of requests, you will have to get your hands on a good high amp charger/battery maintainer. My Noco Genius 1 to top off the lithium battery didnt cut it, Peter monitors the voltage during the sessions and will keep you updated as the coding goes. Communication with him is easy and scheduling service is hassle free. I was not compensated or offered anything for this review. Pricing is very very reasonable and I actually ended up saving money as a result of not having to purchase Renntech valve control.

As a previous customer, @BenzNinja is the real deal. When things didn't go as planned (my C238 was a new model for him), he made himself available at what was 3AM for him, to connect and ensure things worked correctly. And thanks again to @compaddict for the HW rental!

I wish I had known he could do remember the sport mode! I would have had him do that too!

Is that coding buried in there somewhere...as for diplomats, etc? Also...the dip in the high beams as it approaches...is that the ILS+ functioning?
