Transmission Happier after Service
Pleased to report my 7G Tronic transmission is smoother and downshifts better since I had the 45k service done last week. There was no indication on the invoice that they did any software updates, so the improvement is apparently just from the fresh fluid and filter. It did specify that they drained and replaced fluid in the torque converter.

Dealership serviced my transmission a few months back with new fluid and filter plus the updated transmission software and i still get the rough 5-4 and 3-2 downshifts
I am going to ask them to recalibrate the shift points as suggested in other posts

I had B7 service which included the tranny flushand so far I think it may have improved my hard downshift but I haven't driven enough yet to pronouce it better.
