Audi S8

In the meantime familiarize yourself with these dashboard warnings as you'll be seeing them quite a bit. Hopefully the dealer is in close proximity.

) so the closest competition is an Alpina B7. The A8 had been following the old Audi model lineup style, featuring two engine displacements for the A8, and a top dog S8 performance variant, while other cars have moved on to the one engine for A, one for S, and one for RS (example, A4 use to feature a 2.0 and a 3.2 model, now the 3.2 has become the S4 3.0). That being said, for some reason (likely low sales numbers as the A/S8 are low sellers for the class) for 2022, they've dropped the A8 V8 completely, leaving only the V6, and they dropped the S8 price by $15k to make up for the A8 V8 buyers. As to why they won't use the RS badging? I imagine they likely have a similar to reason as to why BMW won't badge M on a big luxo sedan.

. Yes, the price was dropped by $15K. The only thing missing on my car that I wish I had was the rear comfort 4-place seating package. I like the Audi infotainment better though.
The guy has quite a few video reviews and from sampling some, seems pretty knowledgeable. Not sure how he got it so wrong on this one.

Audi A/S8 is still last gen in both of these categories.
My 2021 Audi RS7 is one of the most exciting car I've driven. The ride and handling is amazing. I have not had any issues so far. Audi knows how to build great cars especially in the S and RS categories. Nonetheless my regular Audi have all been very reliable over the past 15 years alongside my Mercedes. Nice to have both in the garage.

But I agree with this assessment of the ride differences between the two.
