S560 long term
I'm looking at a neighbor's 2020 s560 with about 25000 miles. It's quite loaded. (NightView Assist, DA2, AMG line, etc...) I wanted to know if there's any thoughts or opinions about their long term experience. I haven't owned a newer Merc in a while so am not too familiar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't seen many posts here about problems with W222 facelift cars (2018 and newer). Biggest one is rough shifting, which has been an ongoing complaint in the W222 series. Somewhat less common is annoyance with the newer touch-control buttons for the seat position and on the steering wheel. There were also some vibration concerns with 4MATIC cars that seemed to come with cylinder deactivation.
I've thought about upgrading to a facelift car, so these are the things I noticed reading posts on here ...

There are no major problems affecting the W222 platform, save for maybe the rough shifting mentioned above. In general they are very reliable vehicles considering they are so high-tech. Be realistic, do not expect Honda Accord / Toyota Camry type of reliability as the miles pile up.

The best Mercedes to come out of Stuttgart. Mine will be for sale in 3 weeks for $65000. P. M. me if you are interested. It looks the same today as it did on the showroom floor 3 years ago. No dents or scratches inside and out. 29K miles. White with beige interior (dark floor). Doesn't have night vision, otherwise it is loaded. Only reason I'm selling is I have a new Audi S8 and I'm buying a new house so something had to go and regrettably I've chosen the MB. Maybe I will return to the MB world later, but not with the W223. Too many issues.
