Still looking for answer:
Curious if anyone has put a class 1 hitch on their S550. I was at U-Haul a while ago and they had a sign that they could put a hitch on just about anything. The website confirms such, but mentions that the hitch is custom made to order. They claim they can install. Would love to go cross-country w/ my S550 pulling my Roadmaster. What a great look to drive into Sturgis...

Good question. It's not the same thing. But I can't seem to find any roof rack or rear mount for a bike or for my travel surfboard for my 2020 S560 4Matic. But I knew that before purchase. I haven't even touched my bike for a while but it would be nice to take two on the road when my husband and I travel together. And since the S560 has no folding rear seats, I can't carry that travel surfboard (Pope Bisect) that I've never used in about 10 years, just like I could have carried it in my 2015 Buick LaCrosse if I wanted to but never did. For bikes, I do have a really old, unopened bike rack from REI that just maybe might work on the S class.

Hey thank you! That's really helpful. I'll look. But what can you attach it to, and how do you find those things? Should I search mbusa.com? Because when I tried all the usual places, I couldn't find anything. My partner would be happy if I found a roof rack for my surfboard LOL. But I'm be really happy if I could get a bicycle rack that would hold two bikes.

Look on the roof of your car along the side. You will see a small rectangular area that you can push down with your finger and it will pop up. That is where the roof rack attaches.

EUREKA! I just found this on eBay. Looks a little like my old roof rack for my 2001 C240. But I can't tell what manufacturer made this and what parts are compatible.

So the eBay sellers tells me that these racks are *supposed* to fit the 2020 S560. And they say that Thule parts are *supposed* to fit the racks. I wonder if anyone can confirm this or will I be the first?
