Hey there cfmistry! For my car it's simply the black piano lacquer wood trim that gives it the designo nameplate.
Also, following your lead, I ended up getting Road Sign Assist and updated maps as well from BenzNinja.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I love black interiors no matter what , thanks for sharing . Black exteriors are great too but there's a catch as you said it's hard to keep them clean but should be worth that hassle to keep them clean to me

I have a black S63 and this past summer I clay barred the paint, polished it and applied a ceramic coating to it. Adams brand ceramic coating cost me around 20 bucks for the bottle of the graphene coating and my car now stays amazingly clean. It is kind of weird but nothing sticks to it.

Peter finally got the Analog Engine Details mod working on my infotainment screen! So now I've got gearbox and oil temps there along with Hp and torque readouts.

I haven't! Been so busy with life. Glad to hear you got your analog engine details working! I'm having trouble finding rear brake pads for my car... I've ordered 2 sets and both have had the right hardware but the wrong brake pads... (FCP Euro OEM). I'm very confused. My car isn't 4-matic but it has MBC... Could that be why?

In the meantime, I'm posting this beautiful picture of your baby (and I hope that's okay with you) :

I have to say there is nothing more sexy (in the auto world..) that a freshly waxed black car. You can pick any car, a freshly waxed black version is the most beautiful. But I have also owned one, and I am fine buying black again if it's a weekend car... not for a daily...

S560 Long 4Matic (DE) MY 2018
I will join the club! Mine is anthracite blue, a frustrating colour to photograph, because it can appear as black, gray or dull blue depending on lighting conditions. I had it ceramic coated, but the it suffers from (horrible) orange peel, uniformly. Well, according to my detailer, the peel is on the base paint coat and not easily fixable.
My usual routine is to wash the exterior 3-4 times per month. I will also clean and reapply protectant to the interior trim and leather once every three months.
Mine usually lives in an underground garage, but I got it washed yesterday night and photographed it today for a potential sale. As nice as the car has been the last year and a half, it's a seller's market out there and I rarely actually need to use a car in my day-to-day business.
