Think I may have a bad motor/transmission mount

So I have noticed lately that when sitting at a red light sometimes I get a surprising vibration. Putting the car out of gear cures it. No issues when driving, no clunking or anything like that. Car has 30,000 miles. I have heard of some early motor mount failures, anybody experienced that and what were the symptoms?

Thanks!

Not in the w222. But that was the exact symptom when I needed an engine mount in my W221 S 550. I had 65K on it then. I know when I had it done that a 2wd was alot cheaper than a 4 matic as its alot harder to get to on a 4matic as per the tech.

Under warranty so cost isn't an issue. I will try and put it in next week to see what the deal is.

It goes in the shop next Wednesday. They could have taken it Thursday but we are traveling this weekend and I don't want to deal with it.

I just got my 2018 S560 (50K) out of the Mercedes dealer's shop they replaced the transmission mount but not the engine mounts. No charge under extended warranty. So engine mounts are about 500 ea x 2 = 1000 + labor total maybe 2000+, transmission mount maybe 300 + labor total maybe 500. I'm pretty sure I'll be back for the mounts. just a PITA.

So mine was over there for 2 full days and they never even looked at it, so I went back and got it and told them I would come back when they were less busy. Did you have similar symptoms? Did the tranny mount solve it?
