I decided I wanted to black out my S . So I had all the trim done in 3m black gloss on the outside along with fitting a black grille , black MB stars . I also had my wheels done in gloss black and I painted the calipers red. Well fast forward 6 months and I have come to my senses . I have reverted back to factory. I removed all the black trim , stars with exception of around the windows , painted the calipers black and fitted silver decals. I also had the wheels refurbished back to factory with polished spokes and Himalayan Grey . Here is the finished result , now I’m happy and will leave the car alone . I think she now looks very pretty.
I can't imagine your car the way you had it, but I am sure original looks better! My car looks exactly like yours except it's the LWB version. I also want to black out the window trim, I think keeping that was a good move. I also favor the original MB centercaps but I know that's a small touch.

just added before pic , grille was black as was boot strip above lights.
I like both appearances however I prefer chrome but black also matched the trim pieces neatly. Well, I think chrome edges out the black at the end of the day
