Clicking Noise Identification Help
Any idea what this clicking noise is?
The car is in ignition 2 and the engine is off. The noise stops when the car is off.

That is wierd, maybe air suspension valve?
I would suggest remove relays one by one until noise stops.

Ahh it could, there are a few things that are primed for start at position two.
If the battery needs replacement start there.
A couple of clicks is normal as fuel pump and other peripherals are switched to ready the start but the continuous clicking you are getting is not normal, a low voltage condition might be making something switch on and off.

According to my research this is S - Relay circuit 15 car interior. Not sure how that would cause a clicking noise in the front grill area.
I did swap out with another relay and the noise persists.
Mercedes does provide a diagram sheet for all the fuse boxes, but this relay wasn’t labeled.
Thoughts?

That would be interior systems power, not very helpful as it controls too many things.
What about fuses?

I stopped with that relay. I did take to continue to see if any of the fuses or other relays would make the sound stop. I will continue to pull the fuses and relays in the truck. Appreciate the info.

I gave up troubleshooting and took the car to the dealership on a Saturday. They were kind enough to take a quick look. They did hear the clicking noise and stated it was not normal. They thought it might be a pump and asked me to set up an appointment so I could get a loaner vehicle.

that I don't know, I was thinking maybe it's trying to baseline the camera position. I don't know what else would be in that area. It definitely seems like something behind the grille or attached to the bumper bar below the grille.
Is it more on one side than the other? I never knew there was a blower in the headlights, but it could be that (part 12 in the diagram, 13 is a repair kit for it of some kind)

I was finally was able to get an appointment with dealership and the noise has stopped.
The dealership has no idea what would be causing the noise or why it has now stopped. All they could tell me is that if a part has gone bad there would be a code and there is no code.
