Trunk Bag Hooks (Easy and cheap retrofit)
Someone was asking about trunk storage and I know the option offered for USA was the comfort box which I do not really like due to the space it takes up but most annoyingly how you have to lift things in and out.
My favorite solution are the bag hooks as they fold out of the way and are very convinient to use, the trunk is already prepared for them even if they were not installed at the factory.
If my notes are correct part number is A2228100140 and it includes hardware to install, list is about $15.
I'll post a picture of how they look later.

W222 S Class with Panoramic roof, Distronic plus, Fridge, Towbar and TV!
I kept the hooks when I scrapped a W221 a few years ago and added them to my W222. I also kept the umbrella holder and retrofitted that too....
The boot trim standard in the W222 is no where near as good as on the 221, especially with the deletion of the carpet covering on the underside of the rear shelf

Yeah the loss of the upper side carpet was a real disappointment, the details and the technology is what makes these cars. With technology trickling down a lot faster now they should focus more on the details instead of throwing them away.
