S Class W222 Sticky Air Vent Controls
Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me out and also knows what I mean when I say my air vent controls on my S Class W222 have become sticky. When I press them to get the little dial to pop out, many of them in the car get stuck and either dont pop out at all or they only pop out a little bit. Does anyone have any experience of this, or any fix?

Thanks for the help. So I am clear, do you think removing some of the dash trim to the replace this entire part is what is needed? The worst dial I need to fix is actually located in the rear of the car to control the vents in the centre. Any idea how I access that dial?

I would not recommend spaying any type of lubricant or cleaner into potentiometer (MB part description). Part # is same for rear. My suggestion is to remove trim and check part from behind to see if you can remedy malfunction if not, most likely you will need to replace part should be plug & play. Carefully remove rear cover with air vents using plastic wedge start at top.

Do not put CRC on interior trim, it's way too agressive.
Remove, clean with compressed air and apply krytox.
