Just because you don't understand those impacts doesn't mean that they don't exist. They are easily measured, have been measured and are clear.

As for EVs and the electric grid, the grid will be fine.
Yeah....it's all about as clear as Joe Biden speaking at an aeronautical engineering convention.

The numbers are always skewed to arrive at a conclusion that fits a specific agenda. Kinda like Al Gore's hockey stick graph. Pure ridiculousness.

Actually, they are not even close.

A 2019 review of scientific papers found the consensus on the cause of climate change to be at 100%, and a 2021 study concluded that over 99% of scientific papers agree on the human cause of climate change. The small percentage of papers that disagreed with the consensus either cannot be replicated or contain errors

Just think about it logically. It only makes sense that the dramatic changes we have done to the earth have an impact on the environment.

I'm not an "environmentalist" by any means, but it makes no sense at all to think that we have an "immeasurably small" impact on the environment

In any event this move by MB is not because of EVs, they just have too many models

Sometimes when it RAINS hard the power goes out in my area of NC!!

Call your electric provider and ask them to recommend another power company and see what they say.

Haha, as a car guy it’s scary. So few young people are interested in cars. My 7 year old
son wanted to go to the car show and I was all over it lol

Some of the existing electric cars are perfect for places that have electricity outages. They can provide electricity to your house while the grid is off.

By the way, this must be because of the low investment on electricity grids. At my place the majority of power lines below 20 kV are buried underground even if our climate is very calm compared to yours. You don't have to be prepared for a nut neighbour (country near by).

A great point. I'm glad my head was not inserted into the sand and I was able to take this info in. True, modern neighborhoods have buried lines which is a pretty good idea.

Thats the thing that a lot of people don't realize, an EV is a giant electric battery sitting in your garage...
