Hi guys, looking to purchase a 2015 s550 out of state and noticed the radar/camera sensors don't look right. Other models I've seen have more slats covered with the radars but this one only has the top two. Is this normal or should I be worried?
Yes, that simply means your car does not have distronic cruise control, a driver assist feature that actually works very well but not a big deal if you do not have it on this car.

I wouldn't buy a S-Class without it I love this feature and use it all the time. When I was shopping in 2019 for a 2016 most of the cars that didn't have distronic were very base models...which for an S-Class is still a pretty loadd car but something your buying in 2023 I would for sure want that feature
I find the feature more useful in traffic than on the highway. It is very useful, but if the car is otherwise perfect the lack of this option shouldn't hold you back. My guess is that if it doesn't have Distronic it is probably a very basic spec.

what are some other must have options I should be looking for? The car has the Burmester 3D surround sound system, premium 1 package, sport package with 20" amg wheels and amg brakes.
No type of rear seat package I don't think, but I'm ok with that as I don't plan to haul many people around.

That is actually a well-equipped S. I am surprised it does not have Distronic. While it is a nice feature, you will be fine without it (especially not knowing what you’re missing).

Provide VIN I pull visual of grille part # and data card.
I agree that is a well equiped car very odd that it doesn't have it. Get the VIN or ask for the information/Moroney card, I got those for all the cars I was looking at and then you will know for sure
